Previous Projects
Cheltenham.
This project was to increase the size of the existing bungalow and have a large kitchen/living area at the rear of the property. Durn Building was appointed to demolish the existing conservatory and re build a new 7.7×6.5m single storey extension, dig out and retain the ground around the new building and provide a low maintenance finish.
The extension was to include two fixed skylights which provided the extension with ample natural light.
Hatherly, Gloucester.
This project was to construct a single storey extension with a W/C in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham. We also removed an old, dated and damp prefab porch and constructed a small porch to the front of the property. The whole aspect of the build was managed by us meaning it was a carried out efficiently, on time and on budget.
Hucclecote, Gloucestershire.
6000 x 3700mm garage built in Bredon, Worcestershire. The area was dug off and shuttering built to the dimensions of the building. The pad was then layered with 10 inches of type 1, compacted then a waterproof membrane installed to prevent any rising damp. The pad was reinforced with steel to strengthen as the buildings purpose was to accommodate a vehicle.
Once the concrete pad had hardened we built the building with concrete blocks with several pillars for added strength. The building was then battened to allow a fixings for the composite cladding. Electrical sockets and lights were installed along with a remote controlled electric roller shutter door. The roof was finished in EPDM with a 30 year product guarantee.
Mitton, Tewkesbury.
Extension in Mitton, Tewkesbury. Project was to knock down existing extension and rebuild a larger extension to increase the ground floor footprint. The extension incorporated a skylight for extra light over the open plan kitchen. The project was delivered ahead of time and on budget.
